Two of India’s biggest stars, Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati, will collaborate for the first time as the feuding father and son duo in the upcoming Netflix series Rana Naidu. Created by Karan Anshuman, Rana Naidu is an Indian adaptation of the hit Showtime series Ray Donovan. It followed the high-stakes exploits of a celebrity “fixer” and his complicated relationship with his father. And here, Rana is the go-to celebrity fixer, and his father, Naga, is his next challenge!

Naga, a strong and angry character, is played brilliantly by Venkatesh Daggubati. He creates a multi-dimensional persona, unlike anything he’s ever done before, leaving you breathless and wanting more. He does it with raw, unadulterated energy. Venkatesh’s portrayal of Naga is fantastic; it’s like a Hyderabadi tez dum ka chai—full of fun, lots of energy, and no tension! The star- packed series, Rana Naidu will release on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 1:30 P.M IST/ 3.00 A.M ET/ 12.00 A.M PT exclusively on Netflix.
